EDL has solved a major issue by developing a simple-to-use solution that achieves trust, verification, archival, security, and public acceptance. The solution, EDL Notary, combines traditional notary practice with technical security to form an eDocument that is unalterable, verifiable, and traceable back to the signatories and eNotary.

Full logging and statistics gathering are maintained by EDL Notary, and a Notary Journal is automatically formed for each eNotary.

eNotary commission expiration and revocation are also automatically handled by EDL Notary.

A Simple Solution

How does it work?

A Notary, certified by the Secretary of State as an eNotary, verifies the identification credentials of the signatories.
The eNotary logs into EDL Notary, thereby establishing the eNotary's physical presence at the signing.
The signatories sign the eDocument using a digital signature pad.
The eNotary signs and seals the eDocument.
